Cell Line Lysates

Introduction:

Ideal for biomarker identification / screening, antibody detection / characterization, protein-protein interaction, protein expression, ligand binding, ELISA, immunoprecipitation, 1D and 2D gel electrophoresis, and Western blotting.

Tissues and cell lines are flash frozen within 5-10 minutes of removal.

All human materials are obtained under strict bioethical standards using IRB-approved protocols that ensure patient confidentiality, safety and informed consent.

These same lysates are available in microarray dipstick format (Dip-N-Spots™) and as pre-run Western Blot Dipsticks (Dip-N-Blots™).

DNA Extraction Kits

Description:

DNAQuik™ genomic DNA extraction kits provide an efficient, simple, safe means for high molecular weight genomic DNA purification from a wide variety of biomaterial including:

  • whole blood
  • buffy coats
  • blood clots
  • buccal cells
  • saliva
  • bone marrow
  • plant material
  • cultured cells and fresh tissue
  • paraffin embedded tissues

Samples purified with the DNAQuik™ genomic DNA extraction kit are suitable for use in downstream applications such as genotyping, array-based comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH), and methylation analysis. DNAQuik™ DNA Purification reagents have been used in BioServe's Genomic DNA Extraction Lab for over five years, consistently providing reliable results.

Contents:

Large-scale DNA Extraction kits contain sufficient reagents for 100 extractions of 10 ml whole blood while small-scale kits provide enough reagents for 10 extractions of 10 ml whole blood samples. Optimized DNA Isolation protocols are available and are scaleable based on the amount of starting material.

Protein Microarrays

To facilitate high-throughput screening of human clinical specimens, Protein Biotechnologies provides its tissue lysate library on ready-to-use protein Microarrays. These Microarrays promise to dramatically increase the efficiency and speed of research studies by permitting the end user to assay 100+ clinical samples in a single assay. These arrays have been designed and optimized for use with colorimetric, ECL and fluorescence detection systems, permitting the greatest flexibility and precluding the need for expensive scanning systems.
